Accredited Membership

Objectives of Accredited Membership :

* To validate governance compliance and technical maturity in AI and cybersecurity.
* To foster trust between industry academia and government through certification.
* To promote ethical AI use and robust cyber defense ecosystems.
* To align members with global frameworks and regulatory readiness.
* To serve as a benchmark of credibility and excellence in the digital trust community.

Institutional Eligibility

1. Legally registered organization enterprise university or government body.
2. Demonstrated record of AI system development deployment or cybersecurity operations for minimum 1 year.
3. Compliance with at least one global or national information security or AI governance standard (e.g. ISO NIST DPDP GDPR).
4. Submission of an AI/Cyber Governance Charter and Compliance Self-Audit Report.
5. Active participation in research policy or advisory programs of CSAC.

INDIVIDUAL Membership :

* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in AI data governance or cybersecurity leadership roles.
* Certified credentials (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor CISSP CISM AI Ethics Certification etc.).
* Documented contribution to policy formulation research or industry projects.
* Commitment to the CSAAC Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Accreditation Process :

Step 1: Expression of Interest (EOI): Submit membership application organization profile and supporting documents.
Step 2: Preliminary Evaluation : CSAC Secretariat screens for eligibility and documentation completeness.
Step 3: Self-Assessment Submission : Organization completes detailed self-assessment checklist (below).
Step 4: External Audit & Verification : Audit by CSAC-approved assessors to validate governance and technical controls.
Step 5: Council Review : Evaluation by Accreditation Committee based on scoring and audit findings.
Step 6: Certification & Listing : Accredited Member Certificate issued with official registry inclusion.
Step 7: Annual Surveillance Audit : Continued compliance and improvement reviewed yearly.

Member Privileges :

* Use of “CSAC Accredited Member” title and emblem on official materials.
* Listing on the CSAC Global Accredited Members Directory.
* Access to exclusive policy forums AI/Cyber roundtables, Hackathons and Innovation Labs.
* Priority selection for International collaborations and joint research.
* Eligibility to serve on CSAC Working Committees or Review Panels.

Renewal and Continuous Improvement :

* Accreditation validity: 2–3 years (based on level).
* Annual surveillance audit for continuous compliance.
* Re-accreditation required after major operational or ownership changes.
* Mandatory evidence of improvement activities in each renewal cycle.

Code of Conduct for Accredited Members :

Accredited members must:
* Uphold ethical transparent and lawful AI/Cyber practices
* Avoid conflicts of interest or misuse of council membership.
* Maintain data integrity privacy and security at all times.
* Support the council’s mission to advance digital trust and safety globally.

Certification Deliverables :

* Accreditation Certificate with unique ID and QR verification code.
* Digital Badge for online profiles and publications.
* Accredited Member Seal (for use on reports websites proposals).
* Entry into CSAC Global Accreditation Registry.
