NEBOSH Health & Safety at Work Award (HSA)

Imran Asad, head of Process Control and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) currently at CSA Council, conducted training in BGP (International Geophysical Services Division – Saudi Operations) on 17 to 22 Nov, 2024. BGP places high priority on maintaining robust Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across its operations. In line with this commitment, a five-day **NEBOSH Health & Safety at Work Award (HSA)** training program was organized at the Dammam facility.

The training aimed to strengthen participants’ foundational knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, enhance hazard awareness, and develop practical risk management capabilities aligned with international best practices.

The key objectives of the NEBOSH HSA training were:

• To build awareness of workplace health and safety responsibilities
• To enable identification of common workplace hazards
• To develop understanding of basic risk assessment principles
• To promote effective control measures for accident and ill-health prevention
• To support BGP’s HSE policy and safety culture
• To prepare participants for the NEBOSH HSA assessment
